Welcome to the Burnaby Mountain Bike Association website!
Our goal is to promote the establishment and preservation of a mountain bike trail network on Burnaby Mountain that is innovative, accessible, sustainable, safe and challenging to a wide range of skill levels.
 

Trail Report Program

In order to stay on top of and address trail maintenance and related issues the BMBA has set up a program with the City of Burnaby to report  and have them repair such items.

Prayers and Thoughts for the Family of Sharpey's Cycles

On May 26, 2008, at the age of 4 1/2, Ryder Evans-Brockett, son of Sharpey's Cycles owners Jimi and Nicole,was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer.

Cardiac Classic Bike Fest Coming To Burnaby Mountain

ccxcWest Coast Racing is proud to announce the 2008 Cardiac Classic Bike Fest. This inaugural running of the Cardiac Classic will feature events for all ages with a series of courses specifically tailored to different ages and skill levels from beginners and pint-sized riders all the way up to seasoned competitors. Burnaby Mountain’s set of historic trails, combined with fantastic recent additions such as new Gear Jammer and Hang Your Hat, will provide thrills and challenges for every participant. The pinnacle long course layout features lung-searing climbs, sensational singletrack descents, and all the trail features that are the hallmark of riding in BC.

Burnaby Mountain Bike Skills Facility Official Opening

The long awaited skills park is nearing completion.  The facility will include, among other features, a wooden pump track, skills area, berm and roller track and downhill and uphill technical trail.
