Upper Mel's thru Naheeno Park

After reviewing the most up to date Burnaby Mountain trail map, I noticed that upper Mel's is not marked (the part that goes from the University thru Naheeno Park to the start of Mel's).
Does it still exist?
I want to ride there this weekend and I haven't been in a while.

I rode Mels the other day, after riding up the water main road, there is a trail that comes down from the ring road (Univ. Dr.), and across the road is a trail (BMBA members worked on last year I believe) that comes down from the main part of the University... Not sure where Naheeno Park is though myself.
But Mels is very rideable (West to East) with some new trail work down at the Eastern end.
Upper Snake is still closed — although a young buck (on a DH rig) almost clipped me last week coming down Upper and entering Lower Snake.
8 wheels or 2, so hard to decide...

Hi Kim,
it is still there, but I didn't think it was in a park. From what i could tell it is slated to become part of UniverCity at some point and that is why it isn't on any maps. I hope I am wrong. It is a great little warm-up.

The land that Naheeno park is on belong to SFU, and is not under the stewardship of the city. This is why it is not shown on the official trail map.
