Burnaby Mtn. Topo map?
Submitted by Rob on Fri, 11/24/2006 - 16:35
I was wondering if a good topo map of burnaby mountain exists anywhere? Does anybody have one I could scan, or have a digital one? I need it for a project I am doing on creeks at SFU, and the standard 1:25000 or whatever they are aren't quite good enough.
I pay handsomely in beer.
thanks

Burnaby Mtn. Topo map?
Rob - I would think that the City of Burnaby has decent topos of the mountain, but I'm not sure whether they woiuld have extra copies to part with.
Re: Burnaby Mtn. Topo map?
I have an amazing map of BBy mountain printed from the city's GIS data.

Wow, that's amazing!
Is there a PDF version that we can perhaps get permission to link to or host on the website?

I'll convert the map to PDF bit it's going to be GIGANTIC. Should I email it to you, or how would you liked it uploaded?
Also when you host it, say nothing about where you got it.
From the last time I made a map, I know these things get copied around the internet mercilessly, but I also belive that valuable information like this exists to be shared.

How big is it, file size wise?
