North Road Trails status

The curved ladder bridge on middle trail section, right after the trail head on the higher side, has lost quite a few more rungs and a few more are about to give.

A head's up to the city workers.

We are in the process of submitting to the city a proposal for BMBA to repair this section of trail. Try to be patient it may take some time.

New rock work and trestles (long trail bridge), and alternate cut on middle North Road, v. nice work.

I hope Bby keeps up this quality of work, brilliant, for all the trails...and new ones.

P.S. Somebody has dumped a small trestle in the big pot hole at the bottom of the S curve on lower North Road — it is floating at the moment in a small lake, that really could us some human intervention and sedimentation instead.

P.P.S Just found the photos from April 24, 2007 — Great job guys. Wish I'd known, I would have tried to volunteer some grunt work (being homehandy-impaired myself)...

8 wheels or 2, so hard to decide...

Thanks for the offer of assistance Sk8r. Keep checking back for the other trail days.

Tree Fall top section - June 12

Sk8r's picture

Big Tree fall at the top leg of the top (Northern-most) third of North Road trail (just before the little practice area, and entrance to Dead Moped).

Unride-able at this portion (well okay, assuming Ryan Leech isn't doing the riding) -- for normal humans anyway.
