new ladder down stairs

the trail gnomes have been busy on New Years Eve. They put in a ladder down beside the stairs to the ring road. The muddy section to the left has been blocked off and the trail gnomes ask that you don't use this anymore. The ladder should serve our community well and avoid further destruction of the land to the left.
Good work guys.

Good on ya's! that mess caused by the alternate exit certainly wasn't going to help the political side of the "build more trails" argument. Riders should try to be conscious of the fact that there is a need to present mtn. biking in as positive a light as possible if we are ever going to convince the city that trail network improvement/expansion is a viable, safe and environmentally friendly thing to do. You may not agree with the city in these values, but you should try to recognize that your fun now means torn-down structures and a sea of red-tape later. If you love Burn Mount, ride it with respect and show the bureaucrats that mtn. biking is worth their time, money and effort.
eep the rubber side down.

Those stairs should have been put on the right side not the left (going down)

why? you want to use the handrail?

The left side would have taken up too much of the stairs. As it is they had to be dug into the side of the hill a bit to allow for people using the stairs. Do you think the line on the left is too sharp for you - I am interested why you think the left is better.
