At the North end of Mel's, before the switchbacks that take you down to the Trans-Canada trail, there is a really sloppy corner. The one right after the dropdown from the root (ie - the first of the switchbacks). A bermed corner here would be fan-frickin-tastic!

There's a fallen tree on lower Mel's somewhere in the first half. It can be seen from far away, and can be ridden around, sort of, so not really hazardous.
