Dead Moped/Upper Cut Trail Day Saturday October 18,2008
Last trail day for 2008 saw some great work done to Dead Moped and Upper Cut.
Approximately 25 people made time to come out and help on the trails.
Special thanks to the crew that had spent the few weeks prior to the day making rungs, transporting materials and tools and working with the city of Burnaby Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services in ensuring another successful day.
Thanks also to Scott Lawrence of Trek Bikes for supplying some swag for the crew.

You Gotta Like Mountain Bikers
It was a beautiful day for a trail day. I arrived early to take some shots and there were already 10-15 ready and working. It was good to see young and old working side by side and even two shoulder injuries and bad back types helping out. I walked the lower parts of North Road Trail and Dead Moped and work needed to be done. The work crew is very organised and all were in good spirits. The cedar was carried in by all and the digging, raking, building and planting started in no time. Things have changed for the better since we built some of the early stuff a few short years ago on Gear Jammer and Lower Snake. I had to bail early to play taxi driver to soccer photos and netball daughters. Great shots!!! Thank you all for your time and hard work. Donuts, coffee and Red Bull-Trail builders breakfast of champions. I will post a few shots over the next few days.
Thanks also to the BMBA
Thanks also to the BMBA executives who have made all this possible. I have been attending trail days since the beginning and know how much work is done behind the scenes to make these run successfully. Great group of people. Keep up the good work.
