A big hats off to the Burnaby RCMP and the Bike officers. The RCMP were out in force for the opening of the bike park along with the Burnaby firefighters. It was great to see these two groups who look after us help out and ride. I could not help but take a few shots of the riding by both groups. I missed a shot of one fireman popping a long wheelie( I still like to call them wheelies-old school) down the service road on one of the demo bikes-very cool. The RCMP bike auxillary squad were riding the park like no tommorrow. As one of the speakers mentioned the bike park is built on top of the old gun range, that the RCMP used for decades. I recently sent 9 shots to the Burnaby RCMP and got the ok to post a few shots. Thank you to Constable Ann McNeilly and rider A/Constable Garth Collyer for all your help with the park and shots. I have also noticed at least one member of the RCMP riding in the park on a regular basis-very cool. I will post soon here and in user gallery.
