Wanted: Kid sized armour
Submitted by Sk8r on Wed, 06/25/2008 - 04:58
I have two 8 year old twins who are showing some interest in mtn biking, but I need some kid sized armour, any recommendations?
I've been to Sharpey's, but at $43 for arms and another $43 for legs, times 2, equals almost $180, for something they may or may not take up...just yet.
Also advice on kid sized full face helmets, Jimi was out of stock, just wondering who might have some in stock?
Thanks.

Use Hard Shell Roller Skate Protection
I've got an 8 yr old son too. He's not big on Mtn biking yet, but loves the new bike park!
He uses his roller skate protection kit + gloves. $15-$20 gets you elbow and knee hard shell pads. You can buy them at Sports Chek or possibly Sports Junkies.
I got my older son a FF helmet this year ( he's starting to take drops and jumps ) - He's almost 12 and fits an adult small ( I was told not to bother getting into a kids FF ). With FF helmets, a tight/snug fit is a must.
