As a first step to having official trail days on Burnaby Mountain, BMBA directors, together with staff from the City of Burnaby worked on the North Rd trail.

Our first official trail work year comes to an end with a great day spent
Saturday working on Nicoles.

In 2007, the BMBA had three very successful trail days.

After four years of meetings and hard work  by a handful of volunteers,  the BMBA, with the support of the City of Burnaby, had it's first official trail day on Burnaby Mountain last Saturday. A total of 26 volunteers showed up early Saturday morning at the "Playground" at the end of North Road eager to get working on Dead Moped. The plan was to remove an existing series of wooden ladders and replace them with a new 60' ladder bridge and required rock armoring.
