What a busy day, seemed like the mountain was all wheels today. Obviously everyone went to bed early on Valentines to get up early and go for a ride.

And who was that with the red pickup truck, that looked like it was shuttling a peloton to the top.

Oh, and those poor kids riding their Coscto specials, ouch, that looked painful.

Absolutely beautiful day, and just enough snow on the ground, so I don't have to mow the lawn.... ;o)

SFU, Translink and the City of Burnaby are discussing the possibility of building a gondola from the Production Way Skytrain station up to SFU.  The initial thoughts are a 5 tower line that runs over the trees.  I think it's a great idea however I hope nothing would happen to the trails.  The most direct route would take it over Mels and possibly Nicoles.

Would be nice to see a reduction in the thousands of trips per year the articulated buses drive up the mountain with a couple people on them.
