I have no idea if Burnaby has intentions of creating new trails, but seen as no one has proposed any ideas I figured i'd be the first!
I think a good site for a new trail could pass through the start and upper parts of what was "911" for anyone who remembers that trail!
The trail would approximately start near the top of gear jammer, decending parralel to the old gear jammer and upper snake, then connect to the very bottom section of gear jammer.
I know with the warm winter and early spring lots of people have been waiting to catch some air at one of the best municipal bike parks in the province.
Well, the wait is almost over, the skills park is tentatively scheduled to open on April 15th, once Burnaby Parks has repaired some of the drainage issues that caused some problems.
If anyone is interested and able to come help out, the Tri-Cities Off Road Cycling Coalition is hosting a trail maintenance day on Sunday, November 15th.
I recently lost a set of oakley crowbar MX goggles on the lower trails, near the kiosk. Anyone seen them? Thanks
