So how was it? 

First off, i figured it might be handy to have a list of all the bikes stores in the area around SFU.  I don't know the neighbourhood all that well, so i hope some of you can contribute.  The only bike store i know of in the immediate area is CAP's bikestore in sapperton.  They've always been decent there.. although sometimes i feel like prices are a bit high.

There is a tree that has fell down right in the middle of the trail blocking it.  Its on the first part the one coming from pipeline trail about half way down to the bridge.
