North Road - Braid War?
Submitted by Sk8r on Fri, 05/30/2008 - 23:08Is there a bit of trail maintenance war going on?
The last few times I've been up the lower North Road there have been some braids around the more eroded spots or around some obstacles (usually with a trail runner, or walker taking the alternate route). Then a whole lot of brush is spread across these braids. Then all the brush is swept aside. Then back in place. Then swept aside.
Some people working at cross purposes.

Suggested Beginner/Intermediate Trails on Burnaby Mountain
Submitted by ropdoh on Wed, 05/28/2008 - 11:04Hi I am planning to come to Burnaby Mountain on the weekend with a friend of mine, and am trying to figure out which trails will suite us best. I have downloaded the trailmap, and had a look at a description of Cardiac Hill / Joe's Trail and Naheeno Park / Mels Trail from the book "Mountain Bike! Southwestern British Columbia". What I am looking for is an beginner/intermediate trail. Cardiac Hill / Joe's trail sounds good, being not too technical, and just a good workout.
