There has been a lot of talk and requests for 'more stunts' on Burnaby Mtn. Unfortunately, I very much doubt the city will approve of any substantial increase in trail difficulty in the form of drops or ladder bridges.

However, I believe that berms are an excellent 'stunt' option for Burnaby Mtn because they are very low risk (most beginners don't even notice them) and at the same time they make the trail much faster and more enjoyable for more skilled riders.

Info on trail closures.

Upper Snake & section of Gear Jammer temporary closure. According to the city this will not be a permanent closure. They are concerned about existing line of the trail and erosion that is occurring. They are currently looking at what needs to be done on the trail either re route certain sections and/or address eroded areas. We are in contact with them on a regular basis in regards to this. They realize the importance of this trail and want to come up with a long term solution. It would probably helpful to get riders opinions on what we would like to see.
